“Turned on”, our tonic of arousal was blended in ritual on the New Moon. We explored deep to find the most potent aphrodisiacs for awakening sexual energy, love and heart healing…all of which contribute to a healthy and active sex drive.
Red Clover (Trifolium pratense)
Considered a good source of vitamins and minerals, Red Clover contains significant amounts of Beta-carotene, calcium, vitamin C, a spectrum of B vitamins, selenium, magnesium, copper, zinc, and magnesium. It is especially helpful for women’s health, and offers a positive effect to menopausal women as the flowers and leaves contain essential plant hormones. These hormones work in our favor to promote youthfulness by maintaining healthy bones, arteries, and skin, to us that is a turn on.

The beautiful rose is associated with all things love and in matters involving romance and the heart, we added it to this formula with these things in mind. The roses we use are not your ordinary garden variety…Rosa is untamed, free of pesticides, undomesticated and we like to think indigenous, grown how our ancestors found her, blushing in the wild. Roses are a good tonic for the heart, and help calm our nervous system, increasing relaxation and reducing stress, Rosa can create a peaceful atmosphere.

Cacao (theobroma) translated: food at the Gods
Used in sacred ceremony around the world, cacao has been used as a form of currency exchange, in ritual, as a sweet candy, and nectar to the Gods. Cacao is considered a superfood, it is rich in vitamins, antioxidants, minerals, and acts as an anti-aging agent. Cacao has been shown to decrease depression, stress, and improve heart health. It is considered by scientist to be an aphrodisiac. This is because of two chemicals Cacao contains. Tryptophan which is a chemical involved in sexual arousal, and phenylethylamine, which is released by the brain when people fall in love.
Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus)
In Ayervedic texts, the medicine of ancient India…Shatavari means “ she who possesses 100 husbands”. It is considered a super herb, used to boost libido, and an adaptogenic herb, which can help the body’s defense mechanism against physical and emotional stress.
